Knowing when the avocado is ready to use is important.  Here are some tips to know when your avocado is ripe.  Keep in mind that color is not always an indicator or ripeness.

Our boxes are not only recyclable, but are also designed to be used as a ripening container for your avocados.  To ripen them at home, simply leave them in the box they came in and place them on the counter top of your kitchen.   When leaving them in room temperature for a few days, they will begin to get soft and ready to eat.  Check them daily, but be careful when handling them to not squeeze them too hard.

Once they ripen, place them in the refrigerator.
